How did you get into the wedding industry?

I was in cosmetology school in Dallas, TX, when a friend of mind who is a wedding planner reached out looking for assistants to lend her an extra set of hands on a wedding day. What was originally supposed to be a one time gig, turned into me absolutely falling in love with all the details that pour into making “the best day of your life,” a reality. I got bit by the wedding bug and the rest is history! Since then, I have had the opportunity to plan my own wedding as well as many events from small, to large. 

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT OF A WEDDING DAY?

That moment, just before the bride walks down the aisle, when all of the people who have loved and cared for the couple throughout the years, stand to honor the commitment the bride and groom are about to make to one another. It is such a humbling moment as the bride has one last “dress fluff,” before she take off down the aisle and looks up to see all of her loved ones cheering her on to her groom! 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE CURRENT TREND(s) IN THE INDUSTRY?

Mmm! Give me those bold pops of color and unique design elements. Let’s go places other brides aren’t going to make your day as customized to Y-O-U as possible!

How did you get into the wedding industry?

I got into the event planning business back in 2021 when Hannah asked me to assist her in putting together a wedding for a close friend of ours. Helping piece together all of the details to make the day beautiful and special made me realize I truly enjoyed event planning.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT OF A WEDDING DAY?

My favorite moment at a wedding is standing with the bride and fixing her dress as she prepares to walk down the aisle. The joy of getting to see the excitement the bride has to walk down the aisle is absolutely unmatched.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE CURRENT TREND(s) IN THE INDUSTRY?

Currently, my favorite wedding trend is an outfit change before the bride enters into her reception. It’s such a unique flair to add to your wedding and also a neat surprise for your guests. I think it’s a fun and exciting way to begin the transition into dancing.
